What did the Fox Say?

Lucas woke me up getting really upset about something outside the camper. I looked outside and there was a fluffy shadow 20 feet from my camper. It seemed frozen for a bit in the full moon light, but Lucus’ bark startled it and it scurried off into the forest. As it was moving I saw that it wasn’t a bear but a large Fox. It might have been red or brown, but the moonlight washed everything in silver. Lucas didn’t like him approaching the camper but maybe they could have been friends if they met in the wild? Probably not.

Spent most of the week exploring the North Woods around Lake Superior and Northern Minnesota. It got cold really fast! The heater in my camper is so efficient, even on its lowest setting I have to keep a window open or it gets too hot.

Lucas found a football in the woods and its been his favorite toy all week.

An amazing place to camp. Its a rough drive in but so worth. I was able to park right up against the lake and listen to waves all night long. The next day we had an amazing run through the orange forest. The only downside is it got really busy, like there was an ATV…

GPS: 44.16380, -88.29123 Beautiful state park next to Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin. A little busy and I had to keep Lucas on a leash. Nice trails and fall colors. We stopped by the Holy Hill Basilica on our way.
